The purpose of this trip is to offer a broad, transversal and as fair view as possible of this Asian country. The soul of Pakistan is its people: generous, noble and extremely kind. If you dare to live this experience, it will undoubtedly change your way of thinking.
WHAT’S THE PLAN?
We will visit the cities and the surroundings of Karachi, Peshawar, Lahore and Rawalpindi, focusing on people and emblematic places: mosques, bazaars, museums, alleys … The cultural and social clash with the countries of the West is striking, and this great difference It is precisely one of the great attractions of Pakistan.
Strolling without hurry and showing an open and respectful attitude towards a different culture and society are the best recipe to capture unforgettable images. Keep in mind that Pakistan is not a tourist country, so hotel and restaurant standards are very different from those in the West. If you are demanding with cleanliness and comfort and you have no adventurous spirit, do not sign up for this trip.
In order to live the experience of traveling through Pakistan, the maximum group is six people.

Day 1 International flight to Karachi.
Day 2 Arrival at Karachi International Airport in the early morning and transfer by taxi to the hotel. After lunch we will go to Clifton Beach, a beach where at sunset you can see the kaleidoscopic society of Karachi.
Day 3 In the morning we will visit some old buildings of the British Raj. In the afternoon, if possible, we will go to a beach to see olive and green turtles.
Day 4 Morning drive to Chaukundi, where there are over 100 ancient mausoleums between one and three metres high. Then on to Thatta, where we visit the Shah Jahan Mosque (1644-1647), one of the most extraordinary mosques in Pakistan. Return to Karachi.
Day 5 Today we will go to Gaddani Beach, where there is one of the largest ship breaking yards in the world. In the afternoon drive to the town of Moenjodaro.
Day 6 Visit Moenjodaro, which houses impressive constructions of the Mesopotamian civilisation. In the afternoon drive to Uch Sharif.
Day 7 Visit the Sufi mausoleums of Uch Sharif, which date back to about 500 BC. In the afternoon drive to Lahore city.
Day 8 After breakfast visit the Mughal shrines of Allama Iqbal and Jahangir. In the afternoon drive to Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque.
Day 9 In the morning we will visit the Lahore Museum and Zoo, the oldest zoo in Pakistan and a meeting and recreation place for Lahore’s middle and high society. In the afternoon we will stroll through the old bazaar and see the Wazir Khan and Sunheri mosques.
Day 10 After visiting the railway station we will move to the Wagah border post to witness the flag ceremony. India and Pakistan, two nations separated since 1947, hoist the flag in a festive ceremony but one charged with fiery patriotic sentiments. On the way we will see a truck workshop where they also make charcoal. We then drive to a traditional brick factory, where workers mould the clay, dry the bricks and then stack them in dug out tanks for later firing with charcoal.
Day 11 On the way to Rawalpindi we will visit a small settlement with 20 tents where a group of people from Multan live in search of a livelihood. The purpose of this visit is to raise awareness of how hard life is for the poorest of the poor. Then we will visit the Rothas Fort, whose stone and mortar wall has a perimeter of 4 km.
Day 12 In the morning we will visit old colonial houses. Then we will visit the Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. In the afternoon we will go to a neighbourhood where there is an esplanade where children and young people play cricket.
Day 13 Transfer to Taxila, the centre of ancient Indian civilisation. On the way back we will visit a workshop where the colourful Pakistani trucks are hand-painted. In the afternoon we will stroll through the old bazaar of Rawalpindi.
Day 14 On the way to Peshawar we will visit another traditional brick factory to complement the first one. In the afternoon we will visit an old railway station of British origin (circa 1850) located in the village of Attock, at the confluence of the Indus and Kabul rivers.
Day 15 Visit the All Saint Church, adapted from a mosque in 1883. Nearby is a traditional bird market, which many people buy as pets. Then visit the Sher Shah Suri Mosque and the Mughal Ghor Khatri complex. After lunch, if we get special permission, we will visit the smugglers’ bazaar in the small town of Darra Adam Khel. If this is not possible we will visit the Buddhist ruins of Takht-i-Bahi.
Day 16 Early in the morning we will visit the Sufi shrine of Ziarat Rahman Baba, built in the 17th century. In the old part of the city we will go to the Muhabat Khan Mosque. Then we will move on to the Peshawar Museum, which houses the only representation of Greco-Buddhist art in Pakistan. In the evening, if there is enough time, we will return to the Sufi shrine for a performance of traditional songs. Transfer to Islamabad International Airport.
Day 17 Arrival at Islamabad International Airport and flight back to your country.

Personal expenses
This is a cultural trip that requires several hours of walking every day, but does not involve any physical fatigue. However, it is very important to have an adventurous spirit and to know how to adapt to the circumstances of a country totally different from our own.

An advance payment of 25% of the total price of the trip is required.
We recommend booking flights through our partner agency Travel Ponent, so that we can all arrive in Karachi at the same time and on the same plane.
We will book the flights when the minimum group is closed. At that time the second payment for the trip can also be made.
