WILD ALASKA. Between nature and oil
Description
This film was shot in one of the most pristine places on Earth: Alaska’s Western Arctic.
Decades ago, this region was given the unfortunate name of the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska. To document its biodiversity —currently threatened by human greed— photographers Marta Bretó and Tato Rosés travel down the Utukok River in two packrafts. The film is an ode to the wilderness and a reminder of the urgent need to preserve it for future generations.
