Day 1: Nairobi-Chogoria-Start of the Trek. Today we arrived at 2,900 m. 3 hours normal pace, 10 km, 950 m ascent.
Day 2: we arrive to 3,400 m. 3 hours, 9 km, 700 m ascent. In the afternoon you can climb Mugi Hill to 3,600, in order to acclimatise better.
Day 3: We reach 4,000 m. 4 hours, 12 km, 800 m ascent.
Day 4: We reach 4300. 2 hours. Quiet day for acclimatising well.
Day 5: we arrive at the highest point of the route, Point Lenana (4985) for the sunrise. Later we start the descent, coming in at 4,400 metres. 8-10 hours, 15 km, 700 m ascent and 600 of descent.
Day 6: we continue to 4.240 m. 12 km, 6 hours. Day of continuous ascents and descents, passing by several lakes, glaciers and some of the most breathtaking scenery of all the mountains
Day 7: Arrival at the end of path (Gate Sirimon). 20 km, 6 hours. Long day of descent. Overnight at Ol Pejeta.
Day 8: Ol Pejeta, where we take a safari through some of the natural reserves surrounding the Mount Kenya to complete our report. In the afternoon departure to Naivasha, the freshwater lake largest of the Rift valley in Kenya. Night at Crater Lake
Day 9: walking safari where you can walk among the animals and the night safari, in which we can observe nocturnal species, very interesting and difficult to see during the day. Boat ride to watch birds and hippos. Overnight in luxury tents.
Day 10 Crater Lake-Maasai Mara. This is the espacio natural most visited natural space of Kenya and one of the most famous in the world. The fact that the great migration is in their quarters for breeding, does that increase the chances of observing large carnivores such as lions, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas, which are much more hungry than usual and move around more than normal. Overnight in luxury tents.
Day 11 Safari throughout the day for the Maasai Mara. Overnight in luxury tents.
Day 12 Safari before breakfast and later transfer to Nairobi. End-of-course/trip
