Summer of 2025 – 16 days

Photography Trekking to Pakistan

HIDDEN MOUNTAINS OF THE HIMALAYAS

DUU DARO TREK

16 days – Dates on demand

This trip to a remote area of Pakistan focuses on contact with the rural population and the exploration of a mountainous area barely traveled by Westerners. The level of this trekking can be described as average, because although we cross mountain passes exceeding 5000 meters high, the route is not hazardous or technically demanding. However, you must be physically fit and have an adventurous spirit to face all contingencies which involves a trip off the beaten track.

WHAT IS THE PLAN?

We have searched for a tour of remote areas, far from the relative mass of the Baltoro trek, to live the essence of the mountains of Pakistan. More than a sporting challenge, this trip focuses on the experience that involves the culture and society in villages and temporary settlements in the Pakistani Himalayas.

As for wildlife you can see different species: Himalayan marmot (Marmota Himalayas), Himalayan ibex (Capra sibirica hemalayanus), Brown bear of the Himalayas (Ursus isabellmus), Markhor (falconeri Goat) And blue baral -or ram of the Himalayas (bharal).

ABOUT PAKISTAN

Pakistan is a country defamed by the international media. The skewed information that we receive has contributed to sowing a countless number of prejudices in the depths of our culture. The radical islamism, sponsored by arab countries, occupies a very small part of the Pakistani society, but it is the only aspect that comes up in the news.

Our purpose is to offer a broad, transversal vision and fair as possible in this Asian country, in this case of society and culture that still exists in the mountains. Pakistan’s soul is its people: generous, noble and kind. If you’re curious and you rush to live this experience will definitely change your way of thinking.
